Green Hippo Kallio, located at Fleminginkatu 10, brings our fresh, satisfying food to the heart of Kallio in a relaxed and welcoming setting by Fleminginaukio.
Our menu focuses on balanced, vibrant dishes that are easy to enjoy and suited for a range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, making it easy for groups to dine together.
Green Hippo Kallio is open Monday-Saturday and on Sundays during the summer season, when we serve one of the area’s most popular brunches, with options to enjoy the full menu as vegan as well as gluten-free alternatives.
On sunny days, you can also enjoy your meal on our outdoor terrace in Kallio.
We also offer catering in Helsinki from our Kallio, Töölö and Punavuori restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and events throughout the year.

FAQs
Our terraces are completely non-smoking, but if you wish you can smoke in the square in front of the restaurants, there are nice benches too!
Due to fire safety regulations, we are unfortunately unable to allow strollers inside all of our restaurants. The restaurants in Punavuori and Tampere have a few places where strollers can be taken with them, while in Kallio and Töölö restaurants, strollers must be left in their reserved place.
However, the removable compartment or safety tray of the stroller will fit well in our seat seats. If necessary, ask more from the staff, we will be happy to help.
We have decided that we will not take table reservations to our restaurants at lunchtime or on weekend mornings. We take table reservations from Monday to Saturday from 4pm. Reservations for the Tampere restaurant can be made during the entire opening hours.
However, table reservations are not mandatory and our restaurants usually have very free seats even without a reservation.
Table reservations for less than 8 people can be made easily this way.

Restaurants have a few highchairs per restaurant.
Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed.
Our restaurants have a laptop ban on weekdays from 11 am to 2 pm and on weekends.
